Irish Province Powers Past Toulouse in Semi-Final Clash

Four Tries Propel Leinster to Bordeaux Showdown

Leinster have stormed into the Heineken Champions Cup final after a commanding 41-22 victory over Toulouse in Dublin on Saturday. The Irish province exploited the indiscipline of their French rivals, who were reduced to 14 men for much of the first half, to score four tries and secure a spot in the May 20 title match at the Stade Chaban-Delmas in Bordeaux.

Jack Conan was the star of the show for Leinster, crossing the try line twice in the first half, while James Lowe, Ross Byrne, and Cian Healy also got on the scoresheet. Toulouse, despite being a man down, managed to stay in contention thanks to tries from Antoine Dupont and Thomas Ramos, but Leinster's clinical finishing proved too much for the French Top 14 leaders.

Leinster will now face the winner of the other semi-final between La Rochelle and Exeter Chiefs in Bordeaux next Saturday. The Irish province will be aiming to win their fifth Champions Cup title and become the first team to successfully defend the trophy since Saracens in 2017.

Meanwhile, Toulouse's hopes of a record-equaling fifth European title were shattered by Leinster's dominant display. The French side will now turn their attention to the Top 14, where they are currently third in the standings.
